• Welcome!

Hi, I'm Chelsie - A wife, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a granddaughter, a niece, a friend, and a fulltime wedding & portrait photographer in Central Minnesota.

I love baking, reality tv, grocery shopping, my husband, and working hard.

I try not to be dramatic, or complain, or say "like" to much.

I smile more than I frown.

My clients usually become my friends... and not just facebook friends.

I have been a professional photographer for 8 years - after all this time, I am still not ashamed to admit I'm nervous before every shoot - that's because I'm completely invested in you.

Matt & Michelle

After a string of rainy Saturdays this spring, Matt & Michelle were blessed with a warm and sunny day when they were married on May 12, 2012 at The Legacy at Craguns.  I was honored to be their wedding photographer – it is always a joy to photograph a couple whose love, affection, and happiness is evident all day long.  Matt & Michelle, THANK YOU.  I couldn’t have hand-picked a more perfect couple to start of my wedding season.  Your kindness and sincerity are qualities that I will always remember.  I hope your wedding day was everything you hoped it would be.  You are a perfect match!  Blessings to you both…

It was a priviledge to work alongside:

Mother’s Day 2012

I had no idea what she would do to my heart…At night, I stroke her cheek and thank God she is here.

I believe, honestly and truly, that I would not, could not, be so enraptured with Clara now if I hadn’t first experienced the darkest misery that is prepartum and postpartum depression.

She is my brightest light, my truest smile – She has filled my heart to the brim. I cannot wait to love her forever.

I am surrounded by amazing mother’s who have supported me, encouraged me, taught me, and loved me on this journey into motherhood.  My heart overflows with gratitude.  Happiest of Mother’s Days to my mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmas, my sisters, my godmother, my aunts, my cousins, and my girlfriends.

Clara – 4 Months

Everyone tells you it goes so fast, and they’re not kidding!  Our Clara is growing  fast.  Here are her 4 month photos, even though this week she turned 6 months old.

As I recently read:  A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten and the future worth living for.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Our Daughter, Clara Elizabeth

The night I learned I was pregnant, I dreamed of these photos.  In 9 months I’d be given the opportunity to photograph my own child.

Clara Elizabeth was born 1 month early, on October 10, 2011.  Though people told me for months the love for your child is indescribable, I really wasn’t capable of understanding it until I held her.  I won’t try to describe it because it’s really too hard.  Simply put, she lights up my life and she’s the most amazing thing that I can love. She has done things to my heart that no one else has done.  My husband, Sean and I are over the moon for Clara Bear and we count our lucky stars everyday that she’s ours.
